While it is extremely important to evaluate a company’s success through financial analysis, the ultimate determination of success is the owner or manager of the business.  At Clayhill Corporation, we pay special attention to the clarity of vision, business ethic and drive of the small business owner to ensure the success of the operation.  We do our due diligence to analyze the organization, making sure that it is the right tool to get the return on investment required. We only invest time in people who we believe can get the job done.

Managing Risk

We make sure that a risk is calculated and the downside is minimized by attaching an investment to an ongoing stream of success for the business.  In doing so, we align the investors risk along with the business owners’ profitability to ensure a successful partnership.  On the business side we maintain a close relationship with the owner and make sure they are hitting the marks for their operation so that we feel confident that the investor will be paid back in full.

Investment Process

We pair potential investors with companies that function within their scope of knowledge so that they can quantify the return before it is realized.  Our process is simple: Invest in what you understand, but we don’t forget about the novice investor with limited knowledge.  We have a very individualized approach, where we walk each person through the steps of investing, making sure they are comfortable with the process before any ink is dry.  We make sure that all questions are answered, including those not posed, so that both parties are content with the opportunity ahead.  For everyone involved, we develop confidence from the start that the investment deal is the right thing, for the right person, at the right time.
